Capturing Love: Alexis & Matthew's Wedding at Anchor Village
I had the immense pleasure of photographing the wedding of Alexis Robison and Matthew Hedderman at Anchor Village in Shippenville, PA. Set against the backdrop of an industrial venue adorned with large windows and soaring ceilings, the day was infused with the warm hues of fall—golds, oranges, and rich earth tones that perfectly captured the spirit of the season.
Despite the slightly rainy weather, the atmosphere was nothing short of joyful. Alexis and Matthew radiated happiness, surrounded by friends and family who were equally unfazed by the drizzle. It truly showcased the love and resilience of their community.
One of my favorite moments was after the ceremony when guests celebrated by throwing lavender seeds into the air as Matthew dipped Lexi for a kiss. The sight of those delicate petals dancing in the breeze was a beautiful reminder of love's fragrant and vibrant nature.
And then there was the unforgettable moment during portraits when Alexis, with admirable courage, picked up a small snake! Her fearlessness added a fun twist to the day and made for some truly memorable images.
