Haley and Thomas got married on the rooftop terrace of the Hyatt House in Pittsburgh, surrounded by soft summer tones, wildflowers, and just enough weather drama to make it memorable.

Rain was in the forecast, and plans were almost moved indoors. But they took the chance — and it paid off. They said their vows just before the sky opened up. The wind caught the bridesmaids’ baby blue dresses, clouds gathered, and then — right after “I do” — the rain came. It was magic.

Their first look happened down by the river, with the bridges in the background. Quiet, genuine, and emotional. We finished portraits before the storm rolled in, chasing light and shade in equal measure.

One of the most powerful moments came during the ceremony, when Halie walked halfway down the aisle with her father — then was joined by her stepfather for the rest. No words, just a gesture that said everything.

Their cake, topped with pressed florals, looked like it belonged in a greenhouse. And as the rain cleared, the city lights reflected off the water, laughter spilled from the tent, and the whole skyline seemed to celebrate with them.

After seven years together, Halie and Thomas were finally married — with wind, rain, and every ounce of joy.
