It's Transformation Thursday! Or Throwback Thursday? Whatever the thing might be, I thought it'd be fun to look back on where we started! I went to Vo-Tech for Graphic Design 2005-2008. I thought I was the shit! Creating and editing was so much fun, looking back on my projects now I cringe a little but that's a good thing. I found something I was passionate about and wasn't afraid to be bad at it (ok I kinda was but everyone starts somewhere).
I signed up for ICTC with one of my friends Mallory where we would design logos, brochures and car vinyls. It was after much time of playing around in photoshop together that we both came to love photography and the transformation of an image in editing.
My first camera was a pink point and shoot that I took many absolutely ridiculous selfies with my friends with. After savings up some babysitting money I got A Canon Rebel then a Canon T1i, to my Canon 5D Mark ii and finally my Canon 6D Mark ii. I would take photographs of the flowers and butterflies in my Nana's garden and the greenhouse at my first job. Playing around here and there, I would add them to me good ole myspace!
My first portrait session was for my lifetime best friend Kelly's sister Krista! I took portraits for Kelly shortly after and the two of them refused to let me do it for free althought I had sooo much to learn. The encouragement from them stuck with me. These girls have been such a big part of my life, if you're reading this, I love you both!
