Brenna and I go way back—as fellow photographers, we’ve crossed creative paths many times over the years. This most recent session marked our third together, and like always, it felt like catching up with a friend who just gets it.
But this one was especially meaningful.
Brenna has been going through some big life shifts lately, both personally and artistically. You might know her as the heart and voice behind Lounna, a musical project that blends dreamy cottage rock with deeply personal storytelling. Her music carries themes of healing, reflection, and intentional living—and honestly, that same energy came through so clearly in this portrait session.
We wandered around the most charming garden area near the art museum in Ligonier, with little flower beds and cottagey corners that felt like something out of a storybook. It was the perfect backdrop: soft, blooming, and peaceful. Exactly the vibe Brenna gives off these days—grounded, creative, and quietly radiant.
There’s something really powerful about taking time to celebrate yourself. Not for a birthday or a business launch or a milestone—but just because you’re growing, healing, and becoming. This session was all about that.
