Things I don't want to tell you.

  1. I have anxiety attacks. Sometimes my anxiety gets pretty severe before a shoot or a wedding, not because I'm not confident in my skills but because I'm excited and I care. I want you to LOVE your end results and moments captured.

  2. Sometimes I feel like I don't “fit in.” Weddings are something many people spend a lot of money on and get really fixed up. Growing up, money wasn't something we had a lot of so I'm still shocked when I get to go to venues as beautiful as I do and someone is going to take away my key card soon.

  3. I don't just want to be your photographer, I want to be your friend. I LOVE it when I get to photograph a senior, then turn around and take her engagement portraits, maternity, newborn and family photos throughout the years. Even if you don't hire me again, I enjoy seeing your faces on social media.

  4. I'm not the best at controlling my excitement. I'll talk fast, laugh loudly and probably upload and begin to edit your images the same day I take them or first thing the next morning so you can see a preview online ASAP. It's like a mental thing where I absolutely have to upload them to the computer as soon as I get home. Sometimes this means staying up til 1am on the night of shooting a wedding or when I have to get up for work at 6am. So photo credit shout outs mean a lot.
